Left Hand, Right Hand

Cally Trench is continuing her project of drawing her hands every day, potentially for a further six years. In 2024-2025, she is drawing her own hands, life-size from life, using both hands, and drawing each day for exactly 45 minutes (a reduction of 15 minutes from the hour she allowed herself in 2023-2024).

The drawings are ink on watercolour paper (Fabriano Studio Satin hotpress 300gsm), 23 x 31 cm. The project will start on Monday 5th August 2024 and will end on Monday 4th August 2025.
