Feet (2021) is very short animation film in which feet - sometimes socked, sometimes naked, and sometimes with one sock on and one sock off - wriggle and fidget. The film is made up of 239 drawings that Cally Trench made of her own feet. The sound is created from Cally repeatedly saying the word 'rhubarb', as if the two feet are chatting to each other. Traditionally, 'rhubarb' is what extras say to each other to create an illusion of background conversation in films. [41 seconds] Completion date: 26th November 2021.

Feet was made an Official Selection in October 2022 for the 2023 Spark Micro-Short Film Festival, and was promoted to Finalist in June 2023, with a live screening on 9th September 2023 at Buffalo and Erie County Central Library, Buffalo, New York State.The film was also screened on the Micromania channel (Animation section): Feet

Feet won Best Very Short Film in the 2023 Absurd Art House Film Festival, having previously been a Finalist, with a live screening on 15th April 2023 at the Criterion Musical Hall and Theatre in Bluetown, Sheerness, Kent.

Feet was an Official Selection in the 2022 Newcastle International Short Film Festival, with a live screening on Friday 18th and Saturday 19th November 2022 at the Royal Exchange Hybrid Art Centre, Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia.

Feet was included in a showreel in Exploring inside the box: Recent works by Tineke Bruijnzeels and Cally Trench, an exhibition at Cornerstone Arts Centre, Didcot (September-November 2022).

Feet was an Official Selection in the 2022 Screaming Ostrich International Film Festival, with a live screening at West Newton Cinema, West Newton, Massachusetts, USA in Session 2, Saturday 22nd October 2022.

Feet was an Official Selection in the Life Screenings One Minute Film Festival - June 2022. Curated by Banks Helfrich. Screened via Facebook on Saturday 25th June 2022, including participation by Cally Trench in a Q&A with the curator.

Feet was an Official Selection in the 2022 Big Teeth Small Shorts Film Festival, and was screened live on 9th June 2022 at Burning Bush Brewery, Chicago, USA.

Feet was the Winner for Best Ultra-Short (having been an Official Selection and a Finalist) in the 2022 New Jersey International Short Film Festival, with a live screening at Annabella's Kitchen, Newark, New Jersey, USA on 20th May 2022, and online screening via xerb.tv, 19th May to 4th June 2022.

Feet was an Official Selection in Microacts 11 - Artist Film Screenings, with a live screening at VFDalston, London on Thursday 19th May 2022. Curated by Liberty Antonia Sadler and Daragh McCann.

Feet was a Finalist in the 2022 Shiver International Film Festival, Ontario, Canada.

Feet was an Award Winner for Best Micro Short in the Dreamachine International Short Film Festival, Los Angeles, USA for Winter 2021.

The silent version was first screened in Soundstripes at The Making Space, Huddersfield (silent film screening with live scoring) on 12th October 2017.
