Cally's Consort is a folk band based in Buckinghamshire. Our repertoire includes English, Irish, Scottish, American, klezmer and other folk music. We are experienced at playing for barn dances, ceilidhs and other events, such as harvest suppers and birthdays. We are happy to travel to locations in Buckinghamshire, London, Berkshire, Oxfordshire, Surrey and Hertfordshire. We enjoy teaching dances to people of all ages and abilities.
The band members are Lesley Cowey (melodeon), Hepzibah Hill (violin), Denis McCrudden (bodhrán), and Cally Trench (violin), with Philip Lee (caller). The band has been in existence since 2002.

Thank you for giving us a great evening of music and dance. I was pleased that people were quick to get up and get going and they went home very happy with the fun evening that they had. No hesitation at all in recommending you to anyone!
I just wanted to thank you and your band for playing at my party yesterday and for helping to make it such a memorable occasion. I think everybody really enjoyed themselves. Quite a few people came up to me afterwards and made a point of saying how good the band were, so I thought I would pass on their collective comments. They were particularly impressed with the band / audience interaction and how skilfully you organised the dances and encouraged people to join in. I wish I could do it all again. I will certainly get in touch if I organise another party, and will pass your details on to anybody who is looking for a good ceilidh band. I hope I have the pleasure of dancing to your music again.
Cally's Consort were fantastic and were a wonderful way to begin the event, really ensuring that the party got off to a flying start.
It was great to see so many young and not so young feel ready and willing to have a go at dancing. Wonderful!
